Winter 2017 TBR

Winter is my favourite season. I absolutely love the cold and the rain. It’s also the time I love reading the bigger books on my TBR; ones I can really get my teeth into.

I’ve chosen 6 books I want to read in the next couple months.

And here they are.

The Fate of the Tearling

I was going to put off reading this, but I just can’t. My need to know is seriously outweighing my need to savour it. I started it last night and I’m not even that far in, but we’re already getting some answers. So excited to see where it all goes.

The Bone Season The Mime Order

In preparation for the release of The Song Rising, I want to re-read the first two books in The Bone Season series. And to make this re-read even more fun, I’ll be taking part in #readTBS read-along that is being hosting by FictionTea and other bookstagrammers. I can’t wait to delve back into this world.

I was meant to read Truthwitch last year, but I never got round to it (evidently!). I was really looking forward to reading it and seeing what its all about. And with Windwitch being released soon, I want to get to it before it comes out, so I can start that right away. Here’s hoping I finally read it, and be up to-date on a series.

The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet24956528

I have heard nothing but stellar things about this book. It seems like it’d be perfect for me. I am beyond thrilled to finally read it, as its been on my TBR for nearly a year now. And seeing as I want to get into more sci-fi, this looks like it’ll be one of the more easier ones to read.

To fix the fact I didn’t read any Sanderson books in 2016, I’m hoping to read quite a few of them this year. Warbreaker will be my first from the list. I’ve really missed Sanderson’s writing and his cool magic system. I know a lot of people like Warbreaker, so I’m excited to read it and see what I think.

That’s all the books I’d like to read this Winter.

What are you looking forward to read?

As always, thanks for reading.

Marian ❤
