Top 5 Wednesday: Top Graphic Novels (I’d like to read)

Hey guys,

How’s Wednesday been treating ya?

Well, I hope you’ve been having a lovely day and that you are reading a ton! 🙂

I made a “big” decision this week in that I would actually participate in Top 5 Wednesday. I really liked all the prompts for the month of October and so I thought what the heck, let’s do this!

If you didn’t know and I don’t why you wouldn’t, Top 5 Wednesday was a tag created by Lainey over on Gingerreadslainey.

This week’s topic is your top 5 graphic novels. Since I am a complete newbie to graphic novels, I thought I would change the topic slightly and telling you the top 5 graphic novels I would most like to read.

So without further ado, here’s my list of the Top 5 graphic novels I’d like to read:

I have only read the first volume in this series and I absolutely loved it. The fifth volume just came out and its been getting a lot of good reviews. I need to continue on with this series like ASAP.

2. The Wicked + The Divine

This is a hit or a miss with most people. But the reason I want to read it is because the plot sounds intriguing and the art looks phenomenal.

3. Nimona

Another one I have heard nothing but good things about. I think its a children’s graphic novel but I could be mistaken. I don’t know much about it, except the main character is amazing.

4. The Walking Dead

I mainly want to read this series so I can start watching the TV show. I want to read a least a few of them in order to get an idea where the TV show is coming from. I know there’re different but I’m one of those annoying people who likes to read book/graphic novel before they watch the TV show/film.

5. Maus

This graphic novel has been on my radar for a while now. The concept of this novel, wherein the Jews are the mice and the Nazi are the cats, is quite unique and I’m fascinated to find out how it reads.

So they you have it. Those are the graphic novels I would most like to read.

Leave me a comment telling me the top 2 graphic novels that you would recommend to me.

As always, thanks for reading

  1. Definitely keep going with Saga; it just keeps getting better and better! Nimona was one of my most recent reads and is absolutely fantastic. It’s one of the best graphic novels I have ever read!
